Let’s Get Right Church

The Bible says that those who win souls are wise. I have never won a soul judging another saint or by putting down believers. The Word tells me that we, Christ’s disciples will be known by our love for one another. How does the lost see you? Have you won souls or like spirits that will cast judgements and bring more reproach to the church? James 4:11 (a)-12 says, “Brothers and sisters, stop slandering each other. Those who slander and judge other believers slander and judge God’s laws. “There is only one who creates laws and judges on the basis of them. He is able to save or destroy you. So who are you to judge your neighbor?”

It’s high time we stop trying to search others and search ourselves. It’s high time we look inward at our own houses and get them in order. The road we ought to be traveling is narrow and very few find there way to it. The road to destruction is wide and many travel this road teaching and preaching👀.

For the gospel of Mathew 7:21-23 says, “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

That is a scary thing and it should bring many to repentance but the pride of life will have some to judge this post, dismiss the messenger, and ignore the voice of God. Satan places blinders on so many people and turns their hearts towards his kingdom without many ever realizing what has taken place.

A little leaven here and a little leaven there truly spoils the whole loaf. I got away with it here, I got away with there, and I was patted on my back. I have followers that love me and nobody has told me I am wrong and those who tried are my enemies because who are they compared to me spiritually.

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. ~ 2 Peter- 3:9

It Does Matter

Who you confess your faults to or who you confide in does matter. Having collars, titles, letters behind names, or special friendships, doesn’t necessarily mean they aren’t judgmental or condemning. Some lack the maturity to first understand that WE all fall short of the glory of God. Some don’t have the compassion or the desire to see you grow from your mistakes, pains, or bad choices without placing you in restraints. If God says, if the righteous when they sin, repent, and turn back, he will restore them, then who are mere humans that they believe they can go around God and do differently?

This isn’t the season to think higher of ourselves than we ought. Neither is it the season to cast stones and uncover those things we have been entrusted to cover in prayer. Let us be the people of God that He has created us to be and simply pattern our lives after Christ and be doers of the word.
