Ecclesiastes 9:11
New Living Translation (NLT)
11 I have observed something else under the sun. The fastest runner doesn’t always win the race, and the strongest warrior doesn’t always win the battle. The wise sometimes go hungry, and the skillful are not necessarily wealthy. And those who are educated don’t always lead successful lives. It is all decided by chance, by being in the right place at the right time.
This is something to think about as we are going through our day wondering how much more money we need to get this idea off the ground, worrying about how we look, who we know or don’t know, or how much schooling do I need in order to get to where I need to get. None of that matters if you present your self as you are and allow God to shine through you. He will lead you to that right place at that right time.
So if education is what you want to get then by all means go after it but don’t be surprised that before you graduate you are offered a job in that field that you are studying and upon graduation your pay is increased because you now have a degree where some one coming in after you with no prior experience but has the same degree get’s paid less. Stop looking at your outer appearance when in these days and times people are looking at how you treat others. Because you have a heart of gold a rich man will look at that and bless you with a whole new wardrobe just because you showed love.
